Maintenance Technician 

Location: Amarillo, TX. Full-time | In-person

Integrity Overhead Door is a local, family-owned company providing residential and commercial garage door installation, repair, and maintenance services throughout Amarillo and the Texas Panhandle. Our team is committed to honest communication, dependable service, quality workmanship, and educating customers about the systems that keep their doors operating safely. 

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician who can confidently handle installation, service, maintenance, and repair work. This hands-on position is ideal for a dependable technician with strong mechanical abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to doing the job correctly and safely. You will diagnose problems, complete repairs and installations, and provide customers with professional, respectful service. 

Key Responsibilities 

Install residential and commercial garage doors, tracks, springs, and openers

Diagnose mechanical and basic electrical problems 

Repair or replace damaged and malfunctioning components 

Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections 

Ensure garage doors are properly aligned, balanced, and functioning safely

Program and test automatic garage door openers 

Weld components when required 

Accurately read a tape measure and follow job specifications 

Follow established safety procedures and applicable building codes 

Explain completed work and proper door operation to customers 

Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area 

Deliver courteous and dependable customer service on every job 

Qualifications 

Previous garage door installation or service experience is helpful but not required

Experience using hand and power tools 

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills 

Basic knowledge of electrical systems 

Welding ability 

Ability to accurately read a tape measure 

Ability to safely lift, carry, position, and handle materials and equipment weighing up to 100 pounds, with assistance or appropriate equipment when required. 

Strong attention to quality, detail, and workplace safety 

Good communication and customer service skills

Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer job sites throughout the service area. 

Dependable, responsive, and able to follow established processes 

Employment is subject to compliance with the company's drug-free workplace and substance-use policies, as applicable to the position. 

Pay and Benefits 

Full-time, W-2 employment 

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

Consistent, in-person work

Schedule: Monday-Friday, with occasional overtime as customer and project needs require.
